Mind, body, and spirit.

Osteopathy is a manual therapy which can have both preventive and curative effects. Its aim is to restore the body’s global balance by liberating its natural abilities for self-healing. The Osteopath can work on different body systems: structural (joints, bones, muscles), organic (visceral) and cranial (nervous system).

The four principles of osteopathy:
1. The body is a unit. An integrated unit of mind, body, and spirit.
2. The body has the inherent capacity to defend, repair, and remodel itself.
3. Structure and function are reciprocally interrelated.
4. Rational therapy is based on consideration of the first three principles.
